at work I got a raise,which is good :P

it's not logical to assume that all 6+ billion people on the planet share the same characters. that what makes zodiac signs unbelievable. but actually...a lot of us share some traits ..and sort of can be categorized accordingly..

it can be fun ..specially the compatibility which can be accurate sometimes :P I'm not a believer of it or anything. don't care about daily horoscope or Magi Fara7 (a Lebanese Guru of astrology)but it can give you sometimes a quick 1st impression or a hint about someone (that can be right or wrong as you will know the more you interact with that person)

back to the compatibility with friends or lovers ;)

there are 4 groups:

each have certain characteristics and different from one another ,some can click very well and some just don't (chemistry..astrology..we'll never know :P)

for example, a Leo and a Gemini can be really good friends, but a Gemini with a Capricorn. Don't get along very well :)

About friends we speak..

friends are a must in life..some are high school buddies...college friends...party and hang-out friends.shopping friends....etc

However,,the inner circle of trust might include one or two..

when a friend stops being a friend..what should we do?

I had a friend (my high school friend) we were inseparable..but once we went to college..both in different majors..we grew apart over the years..she became more "uptight" ..that's not the problem ..the problem is she started criticizing me over silly things ,
(My hijab for instance)

And not only that..she tries to change the subject whenever I talk about my other friends and saying things that a friend would never say..

I realized that she tells her mom everything I tell her

(even the crazy things moms never approve)

so I decided to cut all ties with her

*sigh*

change can be a good thing..or a bad thing I guess

now I find a missed call every now and then..what should I do

she's been in my life ever since we were 15 :(

it's really a very simple question,,the answer to some people is easy ..to some others it's complicated

for me..I used to say..what makes me happy is getting what I want (not only the material things)

now I realize that I find a lot of joy and happiness in seeing the people I care about happy :)

and what would make me really happy right now is,to fulfill my career goals and if I see my mom healthy :)

the concept of charity work

rarely I find People who do charity work without being selfish themselves...

they do it for "ajr" ..or "dua'a" ..not for Pure selfless reasons of Merely helping someone in need

Once u genuinely want to help someone

only to make him feel better. leaving the concept of Ajr aside

that's the true essence of Charity

But yet again. the good feeling that it gives you. make this deed kinda selfish right?:P

( I remembered that episode from f.r.i.e.n.d.s when Joey dares Phoebe to find one selfless deed lol)

Death

I recently lost a colleague of mine. she was a bundle of joy. full of life. just got married and graduated. Within 6 months, cancer took a vicious raid over her body cells. and now she's gone :(
May her soul rest in peace…

no one really knows what happens after you die. of course your body starts decaying and disintegrating .but the soul is eternal.
We are all eternal

ah! so now the vacation is over. now it's time to go back to work...wow that feels good :)

it's known that devils get shackled during Ramadan ..yet, we still see people doing horrible things and that shows that Human beings can be evil too :/

So the devil can't be blamed for what people do all the time ..

any way. I admit that Ramadan isn't the best time of the year for me, I'm spiritual and all, but Ramadan has been so commercialized and devalued these days. people almost Brag about their good deeds,
they continue to lie ,cheat, steal once they break their fast
isn't that a bit hypocritical?

any how..Eid is coming and all devils will be Unleashed
should we look at them as foes as we always did. or as rivals?

summer is almost over,and this is the 1st time ever for me to stay home ,never having to worry about college anymore

this Month is Kinda sad..I had the best graduation party but my little Turtle died :'(
