The Islamic teachings are telling us : it's to worship god
Ok…given that information ,
Worshiping god in what sense?
Does that even answer the question?
What's your rule in life. what's your place. what will you contribute to the world
When you are gone.. how will you be remembered?
No one knows the time of his/her departure
So..what would be your answer
Why do you exist :)

that one, up there is my BIGGEST fear!!
I do not believe in religion so the whole heaven/hell, "life is a test" crap sounds like well crap to me.
We are here to gauarantee the continuation of our species. When we die, that is it. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

From an evolutionary point of view, humans have done so far more than just reproducing don't you think?
I think we are slowly reaching a point where we are looking beyond just reproducing (this is not the case in East). Technology has given us hope to explore the rest of the universe and colonize other plants and our advancements in moder science have given us hope that we are not as vulnerable, medically, as we were before.
It will be very interesting to see what direction humans "evolve" toward in the next 1,000 years or so.

Purpose in life?

it's good to make things simple like that, takes the big questions of how and why and when off of your head.
Remember worshipping god is not done only by praying, any positive action you do throughout your day is a type of worship. Muslims worship god all day and all night by actions.
so what did god give u? a brain, and a choice. You choose your place based on your thoughts
Whats the reason for your existance? whatever you make of it.. sometimes having a choice is inconvenient but it is the fact, u choose all these things.

Thats the thing exactly lol. It is hard. Because its completely your choice. it would've been more convenient had someone wlse could just tell us, "You know what? do this and that and things will go this way" The fact of teh matter is that its not convenient. Making choices can be hard but there is beauty in it because it is you own. Your life is what YOU "and no one else" make of it.
